On February 3, 2021, the Cleveland National Forest Foundation released a comment letter on Alpine's Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR). The proposed SEIR is inconsistent with the requirements outlined by California's Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as it fails to address or analyze the true environmental impacts of their projects, imploying vague language and ineffectual policies to fallaciously mitigate impacts.
As an environmental and sustainable planning group, we are committed to challenging questionable land-use plans within San Diego County and holding local and regional agencies accountable to abide by regulations and to properly implement legislative actions that are in accordance to the state's guidelines.
